Nocturne

A surface crossed by dense, material vertical drips, where gold and black alternate creating a vibrant, almost impenetrable depth. The work unfolds like a landscape suspended between forest and architecture, an undefined place where light does not illuminate, but surfaces.

On the left side, a presence emerges: a female figure barely suggested, recognizable in the red of her garment and the black that envelops her. She is not constructed, but happens. She manifests as an image born directly from the material, without mediation.

It is the instant when something takes shape suddenly: an apparition, an intuition, a desire that becomes visible. The work lives on that subtle threshold between what is hidden and what, suddenly, reveals itself.
